Nicholas Taylor is the Program Manager for LOCKSS and Web Archiving at Stanford Libraries. In this role, he manages the provision of distributed digital preservation software and services used by a dozen community-based networks, including the CLOCKSS Archive and the Global LOCKSS Network. He also partners with curatorial units to advance web archiving as a core collection development activity and digital service for Stanford Libraries. He is a regular collaborator and speaker on web archiving technology development, best practices, and standards. Prior to Stanford Libraries, he served as a web archiving technical specialist for the Library of Congress. He possesses an M.A. in Communication, Culture, and Technology from Georgetown University and an M.L.S. from the University of Maryland, College Park.
